bits o tid

Sandwiched between a tweaking meth-head, an exceedingly polite ex-con (I've seen him on the route before), and the right side doors of a crowded inbound N train this morning. Both fellows exit at the Civic Center station. Maybe it's part of a mandatory parole NA meeting. I wonder if they are together, or if it's coincidental. They both have similar tattoos.

My mother left a message on my voice mail yesterday to inform me that she had heard on the news that Al Qeada was intent on large scale attacks in major US cities within the next six months and advised me to be weary of weirdos. If I were to avoid activities because a "weirdo" was in close proximity I would never leave the house.

I began reading screen plays to gather an idea of what makes a good one. So far I've read The Big Lebowski and American Psycho. I realize feature length scripts are much shorter than I had previously assumed. My scriptwriting course in college taught me very little. What to read next?

I've had a lot of drainage occurring over the last couple of weeks. I kept expecting that it would clear up after a day or two, but it's still going strong. Does it have anything to do with smoking cessation? Only time will tell.
